Hey there,
I realise I have been sharing a little too much on this website, and I am okay with that. That is how I choose to live my life, a little publicly, and where stuff happens.
In the summer 2024, I was going through a wide range of emotions, with a "love story" and a knee surgery.
I express myself through art, it feels safe, until it's not. I am a cautious person, who does let loose from time to time. And dealing with consequences is a part of life. I am self-aware, don't you worry.
Here are a few pictures of me in my Soul City, which I will see again soon, with neatly packed boxes in a van.
After months of isolation in recovery it was wonderful to see many friends, hang out and talk, drink a little too much, go a little crazy/letting loose for a bit...
Because we can, we are alive! So let's enjoy ourselves, I assure you it's worth it.
Monsterlune et Fantômette in London Town
I spent an evening in the company of
Estelle Rivière, a dear French friend of
mine, and her cat Fantômette, an
entertaining creature.
We went out to a private exhibition at Vout-O-Renee's - I hung out with more French people, which was comforting, and people were dressed up and conversing, having a good time.
Estelle wore a costume she made without thread or fabric, an impressive vinyl creature that attracted the gaze of people, too impressed with her confident look to react! She danced on Jan Peheechan Ho on the bus home - such an inspiring creature that one!
That free-for-all creativity is one of the things that draws me to London Town. People actually put effort in their costumes, and it's inspiring and entertaining and I'm all for it!
Supportive new friends, creativity flowing and here I am all boosted up and filled with new momentum and inspiration.
I love my friends.

Paul-Ronney Angel, the main Oslo man
Aces and Eights, Tufnell Park, 31st January 2025
The day marking the end of January Blues, fitted it was to witness Paul-Ronney Angel, the main man behind the Urban Voodoo Machine, strutting his stuff and telling stories, being as entertaining as ever.
I thoroughly enjoyed this little intimate gig, with first part Matty Cassidy, a charming man wearing stripes and a Northern Ireland accent. Inspiring and entertaining.
It was a very fun evening, with red wine, surprising sightings of friends, unexpected full fun, just like in the good old days.
Once again, we are alive, let's bloody enjoy ourselves!!

When you travel, you face yourself.
It was an excellent week. I'll be back soon for good this time, I've been talking about it for too long and there really is something about being in London that sees me as confident, social, full of life and love to give. There is mutual support with these people I've now known for years. Yes, there are gossip and stories to tell, awkwardness sometimes and age differences - I find it fun, and it makes me feel alive. Speaking the language in my head out loud really helps my mental health, too, I have noticed.
Let's do this.
